We had the most wonderful time staying at this hostel. the owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. the location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and great nearby restaurants. the rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a great view of the river from some of the beds. the bathrooms were always clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We will definitely be going back!
The ventilation in the pod rooms could be improved, as there was a funky smell on the floor.

Conveniently located near a major metro station, this hostel offers well-proportioned beds with storage options. Spotless bathrooms and a fully accessible kitchen make for a comfortable stay. Don't miss the incredible rooftop view of the river and Skytree. The friendly staff are always happy to help and speak good English. The option to enjoy delicious meals cooked by Erika, with the cost being a donation for the next guests, is a unique touch.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The free breakfast was a nice touch, offering a variety of options to start the day. However, these positives did not make up for the negative experience we had with the staff and the uncomfortable accommodations.
The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. They seemed bothered by any requests or questions we had, and their attitude made us feel unwelcome.

The couple who runs the hostel, Hiro and Erika, were warm and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. They were always available to assist us and even gave us a little gift of local sweets, which we enjoyed by the river in Yamagata the next day. The friendly and happy vibe they created enhanced our stay. The hostel itself was well-maintained and clean, with comfortable beds and clean showers. The location was excellent, with Asakusa station just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore Tokyo. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and the rooftop offered a beautiful view. we highly recommend Hostel Chapter Two for a great stay in Tokyo.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the incredible hospitality of the owners. They made me feel like I was part of their family. The pods were not only clean and comfortable, but also had ample storage space next to the bed. The location was perfect, giving me easy access to the metro and allowing me to enjoy the beautiful views of the river and Skytree from the rooftop terrace. This hostel had everything I needed, including a fantastic bar with an impressive selection of Middle Eastern liquors and a refreshing beer on tap. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, even helping me with my luggage and guiding me to the metro station when the elevator was out of order. The basic breakfast provided was a nice touch. this was by far the most comfortable hostel I stayed at during my trip, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable accommodation with all the comforts they need.
